Tux the magic penguin has been seen!
Observers spotted Tux cavorting around the educationaLinux and Debian miniconf venues; later, he was sighted in the busy computer room in company with Alan and Telsa, even sporting a scarlet fedora.
Tux was also photographed typing into a VT320 character terminal attached to a DEC terminal concentrator by the industrious James Andrewartha.
A penguin skin was later discovered, and Tony Breeds-Taurima was seen fleeing the scene. Inside the collar of the skin were found the words “Tux the Penguin, made for the 2003 Linux Convention by three very silly women who have now learned not to say silly things like `we can make a better costume than that'.”
Fingerprints have lead investigators to question Lucy Brooks, Jane Gibbons-Eyre and Cecilia Lopez about their involvement.
The results of the postmortem will be posted to the web soon after the conference.
